About Lynda (Bikerbabe9)
Lynda is from Renfrewshire in Scotland, she has held her motorbike licence for 9 years. She has owned her 600cc Bandit for 5 years now and enjoys going to rallies, ulster GP and IOM TT.
Lynda enjoys fundraising for registered charities to help good causes and has previously fundraised for Sid The Kid (Kidney Research), Alzehimers Scotland, Clic Sargent from baking cakes to zip gliding to abseiling off the Forth Road Rail Bridge even though she is scared of heights.
Lynda is participating in The Barry Sheene Memorial Challenge organised by the UK's leading childrens cancer charity Clic Sargent. After being involved in an RTA she substained a broken leg and her bike was written off, since the RTA she has never regained full confidence on her bike, therefore, this is more of a personal challenge for her.
If you would like to sponsor her on the challenge "In memory of race legend Barry Sheene", please visit justgiving where the money is sent direct to the registered charity CLIC Sargent.
If you have taken part in previous Barry Sheene Memorial Motorcycle challenges and have a word of advice or are participating in the 2010 challenge please feel free to contact Lynda via contact us or you will find Lynda on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/bikerbabe9
